Gamers are eager to get their hands on the upcoming Shadow Of War and many were not happy with the studio delaying the game. However, the Monolith Productions intends to improve upon everything that fans liked in the Shadow of Mordor.
Those who have played Shadow Of Mordor will remember how dynamic the Nemesis system is, if a chief manages to kill you the second time you confront him, he will remember it and mock you. In Shadow Of War, Monolith Productions will take it to another level. If a mission is failed it can’t be attempted again.
Monolith’s Michael de Plater confirmed that if a mission is failed, players will not be able to attempt it again. If the player dies during the castle siege the time will move forward, player’s allies will be captured and the enemies will grow in strength. It seems the game will follow the more natural evolution of things rather than just letting players attempt the mission again.
Shadow Of Mordor was a critical and commercial success, however, not all gamers picked it up partly due to it being a new IP. But, Monolith Productions is quite confident about its sequel and are making sure that for those who did not play the first one, Shadow Of War will be an entry point for them.
Shadow Of War is an open-world action adventure game in development at Monolith Productions and is scheduled to launch on October 10, 2017, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
