Sony will be offering a PlayStation Plus subscription discount on June 9, allowing you to get a twelve-month subscription to the service for 10 dollars cheaper than it currently is. Just so you know, that’s tomorrow. The discount will lower the price of a 12-month subscription to 49.99, its pre-price increase price.
Sony’s Days of Play are its summer deals, which will help players be able to get a number of different games and Playstation tech at reduced prices. For instance, in addition to the Playstation Plus subscription discount, players will be able to get Watch Dogs 2, Yakuza 0, and Mass Effect: Andromeda, all for 50% off.
Other things that we should be expecting during the Days of Play include a golden 1TB Playstation 4 Slim, reduced prices on controllers, a golden wireless stereo headset, other games like Horizon: Zero Dawn, Nioh, and MLB the Show 2017 (which will go for $39.99 rather than their original price), and more discounts on the PlayStation Store.
Many of these deals will begin tomorrow, June 9, and go until June 16, next week. Another promotion, which will give you a 15-dollar rebate if you spend a hundred dollars, will also go into effect tomorrow, which gives you a bit of money back if you’re a big spender.
This announcement about Sony’s Days of Play comes very soon after the June Playstation Plus games become available for free. This month, in particular, the games are Killing Floor 2 and Life Is Strange, so if you’ve been wanting either of those games you can pick them up now.
If you’ve got money to burn, in the meantime, be on the lookout for new deals during Sony’s Days of Play, especially if a Playstation Plus subscription discount sounds good for you. And, if it doesn’t, there’s always plenty of other stuff to buy and play in the meantime!
