Gears of War 4 released with a massive 80GB install size of PC which later ballooned to over 100GB. However, the latest update will take it close to 135GB. The Coalition has released a new update, a 29GB update for Gears of War 4.
The update called “Rise of the Horde” is rolling out now on Xbox One and PC. It comes with a ton of new content, including new difficulties, maps, and class skills. We also have multi-GPU improvements in the new Gears of War 4 update. Developers have removed an exploit that allowed players to kill friendly teammates in Horde.
Take those new Skills out into the field and defeat Bosses in Horde Matchmaking for new rewards – each Boss Wave you defeat at Wave 30, 40 and 50 will drop a singular random Horde Skill. Harder difficulties increase the likelihood of a rare drop, so challenge yourself for the best chance at an awesome drop.
We’ve also now added a new UI feature that now shows how many Power drops – and how much they are worth – are left on the field. While this benefits the whole team, Scouts can now rest safely at the end of the round knowing they cleaned up every possible Power drop out going into the next Wave.
New Gears of War 4 update brings fifteen new skills, three for each class, will be coming to the game. The Engineer gets Flow, Overclock, and Salvage, the Soldier gets Siphon, Resupply, and Assault Rifle Accuracy, and more.
Gears of War 4 is now available on Xbox One, and Windows 10 PC. You can download Gears of War from the Xbox Marketplace or from Windows 10 Store.
