Sniper Elite Dev Reveals “Stranger Brigade”, A Co-Op Shooter With Supernatural Elements
Rebellion Developments is known for developing the widely popular Sniper Elite series that features the famous bullet cam that gamers love so much. Now the studio has announced a new co-op game set in 1930’s called “Stranger Brigade” with an exciting trailer ahead of E3 2017.
The trailer for Stranger Brigade showcases four players going on an expedition but, things are not what they seem and there are dangers lurking in the shadows. According to the devs, players will encounter “fantastic and forgotten civilizations” shrouded in mystery and it is up to the players to uncover it.
There are remote corners of the British Empire where the supernatural lurks and the shadows linger, where few dare go and fewer return. In Strange Brigade you’ll encounter fantastic and forgotten civilizations shrouded in mystery, uncover treacherous tombs and test your wits against unfathomable foes.
The developers also shed a little bit light on the enemies describing them as “mythological menaces” which have been summoned by resurrected Egyptian Witch Queen. Players will take part in “rip-roaring, third-person 1930s adventure full of peril, mystery, and derring-do” while playing as one of the four characters. Each character will have unique abilities, weapons, and supernatural powers.
With Stranger Brigade, Rebellion Developments will be going out if their comfort zone as they are known for developing the widely popular Sniper Elite series. It seems will have to wait and watch how the game turns out to be.
Stranger Brigade is co-op shooter in development at Rebellion Developments and will launch for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 but, no release window has been revealed.
