E3 2017 is just around the corner and game developers and publishers are ready to reveal new games and announce sequels at the event. However, one of the biggest highlights of this year’s E3 will be Xbox One Scorpio which Microsoft will fully reveal at its conference and it seems that Sony is ready for whatever Microsoft throws at them.
Xbox One Scorpio will be directly competing with PlayStation 4 Pro and Microsoft has been marketing the console as the most powerful console capable of running games at native 4K. Scorpio is definitely beefier compared to PS4 Pro as the specs have already been revealed.
However, Sony is prepared for anything that Microsoft reveals at its E3 press conference. Speaking with Business Insider, PlayStation Global Sales and Marketing Boss, Jim Ryan, said that Sony is looking forward to Xbox One Scorpio reveal. He added that while competition is a good thing but Sony “won’t be frightened of what they do”.
He also revealed that the reason he is making such a statement is that Sony is at an advantage when it comes to games.
Speaking of Xbox One Scorpio, many fans are worried about the price for the most powerful console as Microsoft has revealed nothing regarding the price of the console. However, according to an insider, Scorpio will be priced less than $500.
Microsoft has been marketing Scorpio as 4K capable console and a rumor has been making rounds on the internet that the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront 2 will run at native 4K/60FPS on Scorpio.
