FIFA 18 vs FIFA 17 Graphics Comparison Shows A Lot Of Differences In Both Games

EA has revealed the upcoming FIFA 18 with a new trailer featuring Cristiano Ronaldo. However, EA is yet to reveal any more details about the game and until that happens let us compare the upcoming FIFA 18 and FIFA 17 in terms of graphics and visuals.

As you can see in the video above, courtesy of Cycu1, there is a lot of difference between FIFA 18 and FIFA 17 in terms of visuals. In the side by side comparison, the grass looks much more realistic as well as the character model for Cristiano Ronaldo looks absolutely amazing in FIFA 18. However, given that the trailer for the game features game engine footage nor in-game footage so expect some downgrades for its final release.

The upcoming FIFA has also been confirmed for Nintendo Switch by EA Sports. Peter Moore confirmed it in a recent interview. According to him, the upcoming FIFA game for Switch will release later this year alongside the console versions of the game. It will be a custom experience by the FIFA development team in Vancouver, the guys who have already worked on FIFA Wii U.

It will be FIFA 18, and it will obviously be later this year when FIFA 18 comes out. What you have will be a custom built version for the Nintendo Switch from the FIFA development team in Vancouver

Aside from the Switch version release, the studio has also confirmed that the upcoming FIFA will feature The Journey mode like the previous title. According to EA CEO Andrew Wilson, he ensured that the game will include once again The Journey mode with new characters and new stories.

FIFA 18 will build on the foundation we created with story mode this year, bringing players back to The Journey with Season 2, featuring new characters and new storylines.

FIFA 18 is a sports game in development at EA for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.
