Need for Speed: Payback is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The title will be present at EA PLAY but there is a lot that we already know about the game and what it would be like. We have compiled every detail about the new game in one place for your convenience.

Need for Speed: Payback is releasing this Fall and it looks pretty much like a Fast & Furious film. Strong storyline will be at the helm guiding the experience for the player.

Developers are bringing back intense cop chases this year. The main storyline will be packed with moments that will get the adrenaline pumping.

Most Wanted Feature

Need for Speed 2017 is coming to consoles and PC with no requirement of an internet connection. According to Ghost Games, players can enjoy the single player campaign without the need to be “always online.”

Based on Community Feedback

The new Need for Speed game is going to be based on community feedback. Ghost Games made it clear that they know what the community wants and they gathered a large amount of feedback from Need for Speed 2015.


We haven’t heard much about the multiplayer mode but there needs to be a strong multiplayer mode for those who enjoy this aspect of Need for Speed.

Multiple Characters

There are three different playable characters in Need for Speed: Payback. Players will control Tyler, Mac and Jess to fight The House.

Biggest Map Yet

This year’s Need for Speed is going to be set in the fictional region of Fortune Valley. The region is the biggest and most detailed map featured in the Need for Speed series.

Different Driving Environments

Need for Speed: Payback will feature off-road and on-road races.  Liberty Desert, Mount Providence and Silver Canyon have been confirmed as locations within the region of Fortune Valley.

Need for Speed: Payback is releasing for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 10.
