Project Cars 2 is set to launch later this year and developer Slightly Mad Studios has been hard at work to improve upon everything that fans like in the first game. Now the studio has rolled out the second episode of their “BUILT BY DRIVERS” video series that focuses on Porsche.
With the Porsche exclusively deal expiring with EA many racing titles are now featuring Porsche. In this latest episode of BUILT BY DRIVERS we see Patrick Long, who is the Porsche Factory Driver, talks about his passion for Porsche and reveals the “cultural significance” of this iconic brand of cars.

The carefully curated Porsche line-up in Project CARS 2 were each individually tested and approved by Long to ensure the fidelity and driving crispness of these motoring icons.
With the Porsche exclusively deal expiring with EA, Microsoft has also secured a 6 year deal with Porsche to feature its cars in Forza franchise starting with Forza Horizon 3. Also, Forza franchise’s creative director has also confirmed that Porsche cars will be features in all future Forza titles.
However, Microsoft is not the only one to strike a deal with Porsche to feature its cars in their games, as Sony has confirmed that Gran Turismo Sport will also feature Porsche cars.
Project Cars 2 has been confirmed for Scorpio and PS4 Pro release. However, many gamers fear that the Scorpio version of the game will suffer because of PS4 Pro as Sony’s console has a bigger install base. Well, the studio has clarified that Project Cars 2 will not suffer on Xbox One Scorpio because of PS4 Pro.
Project Cars 2 is an upcoming racing simulator game in development at Slightly Mad Studios and will launch in 2017 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStaiton 4.
