FIFA 17 Free Weekend Announced For Xbox One, Starts Today Until June 5

If you’ve been curious about the most recent FIFA game, EA Sports has a treat for you. The studio has announced a FIFA 17 free weekend that will star today and end Monday, giving you five days to enjoy the studio’s most recent offering of soccer and all of its various modes.

Which means that if you want to spend five days in the FIFA Ultimate Team mode, using your favorite players to make a great soccer team, you can do that. If you want to go through career mode, managing a football club and leading them to victory in game after game, you can do that too. Or, if you just want to try out the game’s story mode, you can do that too.

FIFA 17 was one of the most popular sports games to come out last year, and with a free weekend coming out ahead of the official announcement of FIFA 18 at E3 (which will most likely happen as it and Madden are yearly franchises), EA is likely trying to drum up hype for FIFA 18.

Along with the FIFA 17 free weekend, Microsoft has also slashed the price of the game by 50 percent. So, if you take part in the free weekend and decide that you like the game, you can buy it for a way-reduced price, only around twenty dollars. If you want to play the Super Deluxe Edition instead, you’ll essentially pay the same price as a normal Xbox game, around $62.99.

FIFA has a lot of fans both in the Americas and in Europe, so if you’re in either of those regions and want to take part in the FIFA 17 free weekend, all you have to do is download the game on your Xbox. If you decide you like it, then twenty dollars (or 60, depending on which version you buy) will at least be worth it.
