Usman Ally, the voice actor for the Uncharted: The Lost Legacy villain, sat down with the gaming website The Koalition in order to give an interview about how he portrays his character in the standalone expansion Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. He will portray a mercenary searching for a relic in India.
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy focuses around two past Uncharted characters, the women Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross, as they traverse an India that’s locked in a brutal civil war. The two women are searching for the Tusk of Ganesh, a relic that is also being searched for by Asav, a mercenary leader who Usman Ally is voicing.
The Uncharted: The Lost Legacy villain will be played by a fairly skilled actor, as Ally has previously done acting for the Netflix series “A Series of Unfortunate Events”, HBO’s “Veep”, and TV Land’s “Nobodies”. Hopefully, Ally will be able to live up to the Uncharted name and portray a good enough villain.
According to Ally, the reason that the Uncharted: The Lost Legacy villain is such a three-dimensional villain is because Ally took steps to make him similar to real-life warlords and revolutionary groups. Asav, for instance, believes that he really is doing what is best for his culture. Smart and steadfast, but also prone to rage and fits of violence, Asav is a villain that can switch moods in an instant.
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy will likely be talked about at Playstation’s E3 press conference, and may be released a short time afterwards. With Naughty Dog also bringing The Last Of Us 2 to the conference, Naughty Dog might steal the show if people think both games look good enough.
Considering it’s Naughty Dog, I wouldn’t be surprised if they do. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy will be available exclusively on Playstation consoles, and will release August 23.
