AMD Ryzen CPUs Bag A Couple Of European Hardware Awards 2017

The AMD Ryzen CPUs are relatively new in the market and it has only been 3 months since the first CPUs were announced. It would be an understatement to say that these CPUs have been getting a lot of attention and the AMD Ryzen CPU also managed to bag a couple of European Hardware Awards this year.

One CPU in specific came on top, this was the AMD Ryzen 5 1600X, that won the award for best CPU of 2017. The best GPU of 2017 award was given to Nvidia’s GP102 which is featured in the GTX 1080 Ti as well as the Titan. It is interesting to note here that AMD has been able to win this award after being away from the CPU scene for almost a decade.

This is not the only award that AMD Ryzen CPUs won, this is only one of the many European Hardware Awards that AMD Ryzen CPUs managed to bag. AMD Zen architecture won the award for best new technology in 2017 and AMD Ryzen also won the award for best product of the year. These are some major wins for AMD, that is the underdog in the market.

This should add to the credibility of AMD CPUs and the fact that these are indeed some great products that are not getting the attention that they deserve. This is just the face of the operation and we know that AMD Ryzen is scalable and AMD has big plans for this platform moving into the future. We have had our first look at Computex 2017.

AMD Ryzen Mobile will be coming out in the future and it will allow laptops to be more powerful and slimmer than what we already have in the market. This means that upcoming notebooks will be much more powerful, slimmer, quieter and efficient when it comes to power management.

Let us know what you think about these awards and whether you are interested in checking out an AMD Ryzen chip.
