During the course of the game, you earn coins for participating in the jump battles – either by winning or by losing – and by completing Achievements. Invest in Decorations
One of the easiest ways of earning some additional coins is by investing in Decorations for your Magikarp’s pond. In order to do so, head to the Town, tap on the Diamond Shop, & check the Decorations. In here, you will find plenty of decorative items for the pond. These items provide your Magikarp with a number of added bonuses e.g. increased coins gain. Therefore, head over to the Diamond Shop & see if you can afford something.
Be an Achievement Hunter!
The second way of earning some extra coins on the side is by hunting & completing the in-game Achievements. To see the Achievements, tap on the ‘Menu’ button on the top-right corner of the screen. Each Achievement in the game has 5 levels, therefore, try to pick the one that is the easiest one to complete. Upon completion, make sure to tap the ‘Get Reward’ button right next to a complete Achievement in order to earn additional coins, diamonds, and support candies.
Buying Coins using Diamonds
First, do note that I do not approve this method but I am still leaving it here. Diamonds in Pokemon: Magikarp Jump are hard to come by but if you have a surplus amount of them, you can use them to purchase Purse of Coins and Sack of Coins that contain coins depending on your Trainer Rank. Since you buy Diamonds using real-life money, it is a method of acquiring coins using real-life money. Like I said before, I do not endorse this method but you can try it if you want!
