Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is releasing on June 22 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The title originally released as part of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition and will now be sold separately. The news comes from a retail listing in Germany which shows the game’s release date as well as the price.
According to the listing, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is releasing on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC for 40EUR. For that price, players are getting the full game as well as all the multiplayer maps and perks that come with it.
With the release of Infinite Warfare, Activision was pretty adamant that it will not release Modern Warfare Remastered separately but it looks like things are going to change. A previous statement from Activision suggested that the game will be sold separately at some point but Activision later made it clear that it won’t be happening.
Keep in mind that there is no official confirmation from the developers. However, it seems highly likely that the game will release separately in June. An announcement could be made at E3 2017 where this year’s COD will also be present.
Call of Duty is going to World War 2 this year with some true booths on the ground action. The main storyline will not shy away from the atrocities of World War 2 and will deal with mature topics. Moreover, the game aims to be as historical as possible.
Call of Duty: World War 2 is releasing in November for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
