Crackdown 3 Release Set For Later This Year, Release Window Still On Track

Crackdown 3 release is still set for Holiday 2017. The official Twitter account has confirmed the new in a new post.

Crackdown 3 has been in development for a long time but the title may finally release this year. The official Twitter account for the game just confirmed its 2017 release plans, shooting down rumors that the game might be pushed back to 2018. The developers sent out a t-shirt to one of the fans and when he posted about it on Twitter, Crackdown’s Twitter said that “We will see you later this year, Agent!”

Crackdown 3 is an upcoming open world action-adventure in development at Reagent Games and will launch later this year for PC and Xbox One. A Project Scorpio version is also in development.

Crackdown 3 was announced during E3 2016 and since then Microsoft has not confirmed that release date for the game. However, Microsoft execs have been talking about the game and revealed that Crackdown 3 is “all about the boom”.

Crackdown 3 is expected to be at E3 2017 during Microsoft’s press event. The company has already revealed the scheduled for its E3 2017 event. Other companies have also discussed their plans for E3 2017.

Bethesda – No specific time has been announced yet, but it will be during the evening

Ubisoft – Early afternoon (based on last year’s timing)
Sony – 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET / 2 AM GMT (June 13)
