Bungie will take its time to reveal the arsenal of different Destiny 2 Exotic weapons that the Guardians will most probably love to take advantage of. For now, we get the opportunity to familiarize ourselves with three of them.
Following the recent gameplay reveal of the upcoming sequel, the developer allowed attendees to try out an early version of the game. All three classes were given a single unique Exotic weapon that featured two different perks.
Sunshot is a hand-cannon that was given to the Hunter class. It can shoot 150 rounds per minute and deal 200 damage to its targets. The first perk was “Sunburn,” which produces explosive rounds to highlight targets; and the second perk was “Sunshot,” which makes enemies go kaboom.
Sweet Business is an auto-rifle that was given to the Titan class. It can shoot 360 rounds per minute and deal 200 damage to its targets. The first perk was “Payday,” which increases hip-fire accuracy and the size of the magazine. The second perk was unnamed but it increases the range and rate of fire the longer the weapon continues to fire.
Riskrunner is a submachine gun that was given to the Warlock class. It can shoot 750 rounds per minute and deal 200 damage to its targets. The first perk was “Arc Conductor,” which increases the power of the weapon upon taking Arc Damage. The second park was unnamed but it modifies the weapon to fire chain lighting shots and return ammo. However, it only activates when the first perk, Arc Conductor, is active.
Destiny 2 is scheduled to release on September 8 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The PC version has been delayed to arrive sometime afterwards and remains without a release date.
