Fire Emblem Echoes Choosing Deen or Sonya in Chapter #3

Fire Emblem Echoes Choosing Deen or Sonya in Chapter #3 Guide to help you learn everything you need to know about choosing Sonya or Deen. Both Sonya and Deen appear during the third chapter of the game, but you can only recruit one of them. Both of them bring something unique to the party and both of them have their own advantages and disadvantages. In this guide, we have detailed whom you should choose and why!

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia is a Tactical Role-Playing Game that tells the tale of two childhood friends named Celica and Alm. Due to an on-going war between their respective nations, circumstances force Alm and Celica to fight on the opposite side of the war. Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia combines the gameplay elements of previous Fire Emblem games and Gaiden in addition to some new changes such as Dungeons.

Fire Emblem Echoes Choosing Deen or Sonya Guide

In our Fire Emblem Echoes Choosing Deen or Sonya Guide, we have detailed everything you need to know about whether you should choose Sonya or Deen and why.

Fire Emblem Echoes Choosing Deen or Sonya

One of the first and important thing to note at this point is that Sonya’s growth potential is immense as compared to Deen. Despite the fact that Deen belongs to the Swordsman class, Sonya is a slightly better option. By the end of Chapter #3, you should have more Swordsmen apart from Deen due to which I recommend Sonya.

Her incredible spell range allows her to dish out a consistent amount of damage from the backline – something that you cannot undermine in Shadows of Valentia. In addition to this, she earns an incredible amount of XP during the battle. I also recommend investing in Recovery Spells whenever you decide to change her class. If you are comfortable with Deen then by all means but I find Sonya to be a better player.

Last but not the least, in addition to her incredible growth potential, she also wields Excalibur that is incredibly strong in FEE: Shadows of Valentia.

This is all we have in our Fire Emblem Echoes Choosing Deen or Sonya Guide. Let us know if you have anything else to add to the guide!
