Destiny 2 worldwide reveal gave so much to talk about and we covered most of it a previous article. However, there are a lot more details we need to discuss today, all the new things you can do in Bungie’s Sci-Fi shooter, Destiny 2.
Destiny 2 is being developed by Bungie and published by Activision. The game is releasing on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. However, the PC version will not be released alongside its consoles counterpart. Moreover, Destiny 2 is going to be the very first non-Blizzard game to release through Blizzard App aka Battle.net.

Band of Brothers Back Together
The Red Legion has destroyed everything the Guardians cherished and stood by. Humanities last city is down and Red Legion is now in charge. The power of the traveler is what they seek. Vanguards are now scattered throughout the solar system. It is your job to recover the Vanguard and defeat the Red Legion in order to get humanity back on its feet. For this purpose, you can help rebuild a temporary city of operations for the Guardians. The main story line now features depth and intense sequences to get your blood pumping.
Worlds Come Alive
Destiny 2 features new worlds for the player to visit. There are three new locations that you can explore and game on. Both multiplayer and single player modes set pieces are going to be set in these locations. The Vanguard have split up across the galaxy and each location and Vanguard can be visited. Ikora Rey is setting up camp at IO, the sulfuric yellow moon of Jupiter. The location features historic connections to our traveler and is a sacred location for the Warlocks.
Meanwhile, Cayde 6 is setting up base at Nessus, a Vex occupied machine world. Last but no the least, Zavala can be found on Saturn’s largest Moon, Titan.
Super Super Super
There are three subclasses in the game – Titan Striker, Hunter Gunslinger, and Warlock Dawnblade. Each class comes with its own unique skills and abilities including Super. Follow the links above to read more about each Super.
Believe in the Brotherhood
Developers are introducing new features such as Clans to bring people together. Players will be able to join clans and choose the type of community they want to engage with. Guided Games are a new mechanic in Destiny 2 that will allow solo players to run strikes and raids with Clans.
Explore the Depths
Bungie talked about the open world exploration in Destiny. Among the wealth of activities in the open world, we are expecting side quests and public events. There are also treasures to track down valuable items via treasure maps. There is a completely new category of activities called “Lost Sectors,” they can contain dungeons and rare items. There is a new mode called Countdown which is inspired by Counter-Strike apparently. One team is tasked with placing the bomb while the other defends.
