MSI GTX 1080 Ti DUKE All Black GPU With Tripple Fan Cooler, A More Budget Oriented GPU For the Asian Market
The GTX 1080 Ti is the top of the line GPU that you can buy in the Nvidia GTX 10 series. The Pascal powered GPU is a beast and can handle games at 4K 60 FPS, most of the time.
The custom cards provide even better performance and cooling as compared to the reference design. Here we are going to talk about another custom variant, the MSI GTX 1080 Ti DUKE.
The MSI GTX 1080 Ti DUKE is an all black GPU. This is a good thing for people that are particular about the looks of their build. People like me that have a side window and like to show off the hardware that is housed inside the casing. The black color scheme will go with the rest of your PC build and even if you are not following a black theme the MSI GTX 1080 Ti DUKE will blend in well.
Apart from the looks, this is a GTX 1080 Ti at heart so you know that this GPU means business. The GPU has 3584 Stream Processors and 352-bit memory interface. The base clock of the MSI GTX 1080 Ti DUKE is 1480MHz and can boost to 1582MHz. The GPU uses 11GB of GDDR5X memory which is clocked at 11016 MHz.
According to reports, the DUKE will be a budget-oriented GTX 1080 Ti that is aimed at the Asian market. Even though the word budget has been used, I would not expect a huge price difference as this is a GTX 1080 Ti variant. You can expect a minor price difference as compared to other custom versions.
One of the interesting features of the DUKE is that the fans stop moving when the GPU is not under load. This reduced noise and is a good thing for people that are conscious about noise. As of right now, there is no information regarding the price of the GPU or when it will be available.
