It is incredible to see just how far the development team has gone to bring to life the individual personalities of every character in Injustice 2.
While shedding light on how NetherRealm Studios created the story mode, cinematic director Dominic Cianciolo revealed that Injustice 2 contains 13,000 unique lines of dialogue. In addition, instead of taking the easy way by including just a single intro for every character, the developer went with over 6,000 intros to account for different interactions between different characters.
NetherRealm Studios is not stopping just here. There are still more unique dialogues and intros that will be added to Injustice 2 with the release of future characters. This does not include the game’s premier skins, which will give existing characters unique voice lines and interactions while completely revamping their cosmetic look.
Injustice 2 is already out on the eastern coast and should hit shelves worldwide soon. The brawler will release with twenty-nine characters, with nine more to be added later on. For now, players will be filling the shoes of popular figures such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Bane, Cyborg, Harley Quinn, Gorilla Grodd, Deadshot, Poison Ivy, and more.
Similar to the first game, Injustice 2 will feature a campaign mode that is set right after the events of Superman going dark in an alternate universe and forming a dictatorship. Batman and his squad of insurgents must work together to somehow keep the peace in the recently freed world.
We have comprised a handy moves and combos list for every character in the roster. The core mechanics are similar to its predecessor but with a few small changes. There is the introduction of the Gear System for one, rewarding players with pieces of equipment that can be used to alter a character’s appearance, abilities, and stats.
Injustice 2 is available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The PC version is still not being talked about.
