Report: Zelda Mobile Game In The Works, Expected To Launch In 2017

Nintendo has been bringing some of its titles to mobile devices and after the success of Super Mario Run the company seems to be interested in bringing its other titles to mobile. Now a new report has made its way to the internet that suggests Nintendo is working on a Zelda mobile game.

The report comes from The Wall Street Journal, who claim that their sources have revealed that Nintendo plans to release Animal Crossing for mobile in the second half of calendar 2017 and Zelda mobile game will follow. Furthermore, the report suggests that the order could change and Zelda mobile game could launch first.

Aside from the Zelda mobile game, Nintendo os also working on the next Zelda title. While Breath Of The Wild released just a couple of months ago, Zelda creator has promised surprises for the next Zelda title. According to Zelda creator Eiji Aonuma, while it is not easy to be able to answer everyone’s expectations for the upcoming game but promised that the next Zelda title will have surprises for fans.

First of all I think the point that ‘this is a Zelda’ is big. It’s a series that has been continuing for a long time, if I am to put it in words then perhaps everyone would have thought it’s not that simple to do a ‘reform’.

It’s not an easy thing to be able to answer expectations of all our users, but through this game, I recognised again that the significance of continuing to create the series is right there, so in the future I’d like to repeat doing “great fusses*” and provide ‘surprises’ that exceed everyone’s expectations.

In related news, Nintendo has revealed all the contents that will be included in the DLC pack 1 for the game. According to the devs, the DLC will include new armor sets for Link, there will be a total of 9 armor pieces divided into 5 different outfits and much more.

Do you think it is a good idea for Nintendo to bring Zelda for mobile? Let us know in the comments.
