A new Need for Speed game is coming out by the end of the year, according to Ghost Games. The developer posted on its official website and confirmed the arrival of a new game this year. Need for Speed 2017 will release on consoles and PC, presumably, in Fall 2017.
The last we saw Need for Speed was back in 2015 when the reboot came out. EA is following its promise of not allowing their franchise to go annual again by taking a break in 2016. Developers will share more about the new Need for Speed as we head closer to EA PLAY. However, they did share some information about the game that should have you excited.
Need for Speed 2017
Based on Feedback
The new Need for Speed game is going to be based on community feedback. Ghost Games made it clear that they know what the community wants and they gathered a large amount of feedback from Need for Speed 2015.
The Return of Deep Customization
The community feedback has helped developers add deeper level of customization in Need for Speed 2017. Players will experience a whole new level of depth when it comes to vehicle customizations. This feature will play a strong role as ever as we move forward into the next game and beyond.
Intense Cop Chases
Developers are bringing back intense cop chases this year. The main storyline will be packed with moments that will get the adrenaline pumping.
Most Wanted Feature
Need for Speed 2017 is coming to consoles and PC with no requirement of an internet connection. According to Ghost Games, players can enjoy the single player campaign without the need to be “always online.”
Need for Speed is releasing in Fall 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Players can expect to hear more at EA PLAY in June.
