Rockstar Games has not revealed regarding the Red Dead Redemption 2 except for a reveal trailer but hype for the game is too high. You can imagine the hype just by knowing that recently pre-orders for Red Dead Redemption 2 went out of stock at Amazon and now the game is back in stock.
It is quite impressive for a game going out of stock that has not even released. However, the pre-orders for Red Dead Redemption 2 are back in stock and is available for $58.77. Not much in known about the game, except that Red Dead Redemption 2 will have the emotional depth to it.
The conventional wisdom was of course that a western wouldn’t work. We took a different point of view, which is that very occasionally westerns capture the imagination of the public. When we launched Red Dead, it did. And those times were right for that. And I think the times are right for a big, sprawling, optimistic view of America again–and that’s not meant to be cute.
Also, the GTA V mod that aimed to bring the Red Dead Redemption to PC has been canceled. One of the modders, Mr. Leisurewear, explained the reason behind canceling the mod. According to the modder, the team was contacted after the trailer for the mod was released.
I know this is a hard pill to swallow, but as you may have noticed we did get contacted, and we sadly have to say we are stopping this project. So thanks guys, we were all so happy to see this, but it isn’t going to happen, sorry.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is an open-world western action adventure game in development at Rockstar Games and is scheduled to launch in fall 2017. The game is a console exclusive, however, according to a leak, we might see a PC port of the game.
