Playstation has decided to give Playstation Now subscribers some more variety, adding in nine new Playstation Now games to play. Playstation Now is a service that allows Playstation users to stream games from older Playstation consoles to play on modern consoles. The games that have been added are pretty varied, too.
They include Sniper Elite III, one of the popular Sniper Elite games (go pop some German testicles!), Dark Sector (a dark action game), Payday 2 (the multiplayer bank-robbing sensation), Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons (a heartwrenching but short tale of two brothers trying to heal their sick father), Terraria (sort of like side-scrolling Minecraft), and others like Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea, Dynasty Warriors 8: Extreme Legends, Tiny Brains, and How To Survive.
Many of these games are also multiplayer, so if you and a friend both want to play them together, all you have to do is both own the games (or be on the same console) and you can play together online or locally.
Previously Playstation Now was available for a number of other consoles, such as the Playstation Vita, the Playstation 3, and smart TVs. However, they discontinued those services back in February in order to focus more on what they saw as the future; the Playstation 4 and PC gamers.
Playstation will, however, be opening up streaming for Playstation 4 games later this year, allowing gamers to rent Playstation 4 games instead of buying them.
If you already have a Playstation Now account, you can download any of the new Playstation Now games to play. However, if you don’t, and are skeptical about the service, you can download a week-long free trial.
