Call of Duty: WWII is officially revealed, Activision shared a beautiful trailer yesterday. The hour long live stream gave us plenty of details including the fact that players will have a Destiny like multiplayer hub, a social space where players can interact and engage with each other. Developers are going for a proper “Global War” feel for Call of Duty: WWII.
The staple of Call of Duty games, zombies mode, is making a return this year as well. During the live stream Sledgehammer Games confirmed that Call of Duty: WWII Nazi Zombies are coming. The current story line ended with Black Ops 3 so Nazi Zombies are coming with their own separate story for Call of Duty: WWII.
How did zombies came to be in WWII? Developers explained the premise of the story, saying that Nazi Zombies are the result of human experimentation. Toward the end of the war, Nazis started experimenting on soldiers in hopes to create a stronger, better army. However, things went south and instead of a stronger army, Nazi Zombies took over the battlefield. More details on the zombie mode will come at a later date.
Call of Duty: WWII is releasing on November 3 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Sledgehammer is offering three different variants for COD this year. The standard version, the digital deluxe edition which comes with the season pass, and the pro edition which comes with the season pass and more.
Multiplayer reveal for the game has been confirmed for E3 2017, where Sony will do the honors of revealing the online component.
