Star Wars Battlefront 2 is only the beginning of star Wars games that will be released in the future, as there are multiple Star Wars games in development at Visceral Games and other studios. This year we will see the release of Star Wars Battlefront 2 which will feature heroes from all eras and fans have started to speculate if Jar Jar Binks will be featured in the game or not.
Speaking with Eurogamer, Lucasfilm creative executive, Steve Blank, was asked if Jar Jar Binks will be featured in the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront 2. While he did answer the question but did so cryptically saying “only time will tell”. However, he did not outright deny it, which might indicate that DICE might be considering to feature the character in the game.
Aside from the welcome addition of the single-player campaign to Star Wars Battlefront 2, EA has announced that the game will feature offline split screen co-op. However, EA has revealed that Star Wars Battlefront 2 split Screen will be exclusive to the consoles, meaning PC players will not be able to play with their friend in local co-op.
Also, EA has confirmed that Star Wars Battlefront 2 will not feature any season pass, but according to creative director, Bernd Diemer, EA is working on “something different” in this area but said that he could not reveal any specifics about it.
Cannot talk about the specifics of this, but we have something different in mind that will allow you to play longer, be [more] invested in the game without having a fragmented community.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 is a first-person shooter in development at DICE and is scheduled to launch in November for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Also, the game will feature a single-player campaign, unlike the first game.
