Star Wars Battlefront 2 single-player campaign won’t be half-hearted. According to Battlefront 2 Content Producer Paola Jouyaux, EA, as well as the Motive, is fully committed to the single-player campaign. The previous title didn’t have a single-player mode which means expectations are high this time around.
For those who don’t know, EA is working on single-player mode for Star Wars Battlefront this year. This is a direct result of criticism over 2015’s Star Wars Battlefront. Battlefront 2 is going to have a single-player campaign and a strong one, judging by the following statement from Jouyaux:
I think it shows a commitment to the single player mode that they came to us and Motive to create this campaign. EA are completely dedicated to building this game mode.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 single-player campaign spans across 30 years of Star Wars events. In the recent trailer reveal we saw the Death Star explode right before the eyes of Iden Versio, played Janina Gavankar from Sleep Hollow, which suggested that they elite stormtrooper unit merely escaped the destruction.
Developers released a handful of concept art which showed some of the locations we may get to visit in Battlefront 2. EA will show more of the game on May 15 and a final release date is planned for November. Star Wars Battlefront 2 is releasing on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Players can get early access by pre-ordering Star Wars Battlefront 2. However, if you don’t feel like spending $80 on the Deluxe Edition to get early access, there is another way. EA has confirmed Star Wars Battlefront 2’s EA Access and EA Origin release.
Members of EA’s premium service on Xbox One and PC can play the game early. The 10 hours long trial will go live a few days before the final release of the game. We actually recommend getting EA Access if you wish to enter early rather than spending $80 on the Deluxe Edition, it is not a good value.
