GALAX GTX 1080 Ti Hall of Fame Edition GPU: Triple 8-pin Power Connectors, Triple Fans And 16+3 Phase VRM
The GTX 1080 Ti is a beast and when it comes to making unique custom GPUs, GALAX is in a league of its own. We know that the Hall of Fame Edition is especially unique in both looks and performance and now we are getting images of the GALAX GTX 1080 Ti Hall of Fame Edition GPU from the company’s official Facebook page. The iconic white theme is still there but what is different? Let’s find out.
Looking at the aesthetic we can see that the GALAX GTX 1080 Ti Hall of Fame Edition GPU has a triple fan cooler which should be great when the GPU is running at higher than normal clock speeds and I say that because the GPU also has triple 8-pin power connectors which are unusual for the GTX 1080 Ti. What this means is that you can expect some serious overclocks from this GPU.
Something that I found particularly pretty about the GPU, is the fact that it has a totally white PCB, something that we do not see every day. As of right now, we are not sure whether or not this GPU will come with a backplate or not. Looking at the market that it is meant for, I am sure there will be one but I would be fine just looking at that white PCB even if it did not.
Some benchmarks of the GALAX GTX 1080 Ti Hall of Fame Edition GPU also made their way to the internet previously and you can check out the TimeSpy benchmark below. You can see the results of the benchmark that the GALAX GTX 1080 Ti Hall of Fame Edition GPU is a very powerful piece of hardware and is not something that just looks good.
As of right now, there is no confirmation regarding the price of this GPU or when it will be coming out but one thing is for sure, enthusiasts have something to look forward to. If you are interested in checking out more images of the GPU then you can check out their official channels.
