Activision has announced the next iteration of Call of Duty titled Call of Duty: WWII. This goes in line with an earlier report confirming the game’s reveal for the coming weekend. As the World War II setting, it was also revealed by the end of last month.
The publisher announced the game on its official blog, stating that an official ‘reveal’ is set for next Wednesday at 01:00 PM EDT or 10:00 PM PDT. Keeping earlier iterations of Call of Duty in mind, you can expect a portion of the singleplayer campaign to be shown in the reveal. Activision usually reveals the multiplayer component of Call of Duty games a few weeks after the initial reveal.
The studio has also shared a poster from the game that confirms the game’s official logo along with the Worldwide Reveal date underneath it. You can check it out attached above!
While we are expected to learn more about Call of Duty: WWII in coming days, if the rumors are to be believed, the game’s expected to launch on Nov. 03, 2017 which should not come as a huge surprise since Call of Duty games usually release around this release window. This year’s Call of Duty is being developed by Sledgehammer Games.
