While Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is the Call of Duty of the year until the next one releases, it would seem that Treyarch isn’t done putting out DLC yet, with Black Ops 3 DLC 5 apparently being leaked by an Instagram post from Edward Richtofen’s Brazilian voice actor.
Black Ops 3 was supposed to have released its apparent final DLC Salvation last year, before Infinite Warfare came out. However, it seems that Treyarch isn’t done yet, with Black Ops 3 DLC 5 possibly being made as we speak.
In the Instagram post that might have leaked its existence, the voice actor Luiz Carlos Gomez only made reference to something being “confirmed”, and that someone was back. If it involves him, due to his voice acting role, he might be talking about Richtofen.
However, the post was edited a short time later to be less spoilery, but for now it’s all we really have to go on. If a new DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is actually in the works, then one does have to wonder what exactly it involves. While a vast majority of the Call of Duty fanbase doesn’t really like Infinite Warfare’s multiplayer, Treyarch should now be working on its own new Call of Duty game.
There’s also no telling what Black Ops 3 DLC 5 might actually involve; if it’s like previous Call of Duty DLC packs it will likely involve a selection of various maps and one zombie map, but who knows what exactly those maps might be?
Either way we’ll have to wait until Activision actually confirms something to see if there really is another DLC coming out for Black Ops 3. Gomez may have been overreacting or gotten his facts wrong, but I doubt that any fan of Black Ops 3 is going to complain about the game getting more content.
