Tekken 7 Allows You to Assign Rage Arts to Single Button

Plenty of new details have arrived for Tekken 7, courtesy of the sixth annual iteration of Hypespotting over the weekend in Glasgow, Scotland.

Participants of the largest fighting game event in the United Kingdom tried their skill on the latest PlayStation 4 build of Tekken 7. It featured all the characters that Bandai Namco has so far revealed, including Eddy Gordo and Kuma. In addition, the build included all the new stages so far showcased by the developer as well.

According to TekkenGamer, the latest installment in the iconic series was running beautifully. The publication also caught sight of several new features that the developer is yet to highlight.

Tekken 7 will feature a new offline game mode called Treasure Battle, where “winning continuous matches will trigger a match with special rules or a special match where you will fight against a special opponent.”

One element that every player is excited about is the new Controller Setup, which makes button mapping incredibly simple and easy. It can be accessed straight from the character select screen, and can even disable analog stick movement as well as button checking.

Adding to the feasibility of the button mapping, Bandai Namco will allow players to assign Rage Arts to a single button. This means that no one will be required to remember all the various button combinations for every character. They can just map the attack move to a single button and be done with it.

Furthermore, the latest PlayStation 4 build of Tekken 7 had a complete menu that was not hidden behind question marks. The items were: Story Mode, Offline, Online, Customization, Jukebox, Gallery, Options, Player Information, PlayStation Store, and VR Mode.

Tekken 7 is scheduled to release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on June 2. Pre-ordering the digital version nets you an exclusive Tekken 7 theme alongside Eliza, the immortal blood-sucking vampire.
