PowerColor Radeon RX 580 Red Devil Board Design Teased

We have heard about two different versions of the PowerColor Radeon RX 580 Red Devil coming out soon but now the board design has been teased and it is the first time that we are taking a look at the RX 580 board.

We are looking at upgraded VRM which implies that the GPU will be able to run at higher clock speeds. We know that the RX 580 is a refresh of the RX 480 so there will not be huge boosts in performance but we could get higher clock speeds.

Plus the RX 480 gave VR to the masses so the PowerColor Radeon RX 580 should be able to do the same as well as providing 1440p playability for most games. Of course, not all games will run at 1440p.

Word has it that the Red Devil will feature 1400+ MHz clocks. This is a slight bump over the RX 480 that we have seen previously.

PowerColor Radeon RX 580

Whatever the case may be, the RX 580 should be a pretty great GPU for gamers that are on a budget. If we look at the competition the Nivida GTX 1070 offers 1440p gaming performance and that is much more expensive as compared to the RX 480.

If the RX 580 is indeed more powerful than the RX 480 and the price point remains the same then the GPU will be great value for money and I do not see why people would not buy one of these GPUs unless Nvidia introduces something new to the market or introduces some price cuts to their existing series of GPUs.

AMD will also be introducing AMD Vega sometime later this year, which will cater to the high-end market. This way AMD will have a complete array of GPUs to offer customers. AMD Ryzen 3 is also going to be coming out soon.

Let us know what you think about the PowerColor Radeon RX 580 Red Devil and whether or not you are interested in buying one of these GPUs.
