If you signed up for the Quake Champions beta but did not get access to the game then you need not worry.
Official Twitter account for Quake Champions said:
“Champions! We’ve just sent a new batch of invites for Closed Beta – the next test event begins tomorrow. Please check your email! #Quake”.
If you did get a key in the first wave then you will be sad to know that your progress will not carry forward. This might be a bummer for some but I am sure there is a good reason why the developers are going with this.
Quake Champions is a highly anticipated game and it is a PC exclusive title which means that it has not been developers with consoles in mind. This means that users will be able to take advantage of a mouse and keyboard as well as high-end hardware.
This is the closed beta and we should be getting an open beta sometime soon as well. This will allow everyone to check out the game and allow developers to get some feedback and fix glitches and bugs in the game.
We have already seen some teasers regarding the different characters of Quake Champions and their different play styles. It will be interesting to see how the game will compete against the very popular Overwatch.
This may not be the best time to be releasing a multiplayer first person shooter game seeing how Overwatch is getting so much love. But Quake Champions could be something else entirely. Surely there is enough space for both the games.
Let us know what you think about Quake Champions and whether or not you are interested in checking out the game.
