Back in February of last year, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 was released, finishing off the Ultimate Ninja Storm series. Now, a new collection, Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Legacy, has been given an announcement trailer for the remastered first three games that tell Naruto’s entire story from beginning to end.
Naruto, a series that ran for nearly ten years, finally ended several weeks ago when Naruto Shippuden aired its last episode. While the manga ended some months before, the anime has finally ended and a sequel anime, showing the adventures of Naruto’s son Boruto, has started up instead.
Excluding Generations and Revolution, two side-games, the entire series will now be available on current-gen consoles, which can be a boon if players bought Ninja Storm 4 alone last year and have wanted to play the other games as well.
The Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Legacy collection will be able to take players through the entirety of the Naruto story at a much faster and funner pace. Players won’t have to sit through dozens of episodes of filler and can instead focus on the whole main story as they play through the original series and Shippuden.
All three prior-generation games will also be remastered in order to bring them up to the standards of the Xbox One and Playstation 4. Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, which will be coming out with the original games, will also have all of its downloadable content included. This includes the Road to Boruto expansion, which takes players through the plot of the movie of the same name.
The Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Legacy collection will be releasing on July 28 in Japan this year, and will likely be given a Western release sometime in the fall on the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC, so if you’re a fan of the games and want to see how they look in the current generation, be on the lookout.
