Warhammer Dawn of War 3 enters into the third generation but before that, there will be an open beta phase, that will allow gamers to test run it.
Relic has made sure that its servers are up to mark for this open beta. This test is scheduled from April 21 to April 24, just a few days before its release date on April 27.
The data that is acquired through beta testing will prove helpful in tweaking the game and will highlight some of its flaws. These flaws will be fixed on the day one patch of Warhammer Dawn of War 3.
This beta test will focus on multiplayer features, letting players take control of three of the games major races like Space Marines, Orks, and Eldar to fight it out on different maps.
players will be able to set the doctrine of their army, meaning the type of war they can wage will be different in each game.
There will be quick matches and custom battles, as well as three different maps to play on.
In the full release, we can expect twenty doctrines per faction, nine elites per race, eight multiplayer maps, and new units to look forward to.
There is also the feature to play against AI in the main release.
Warhammer Dawn of War 3 is one of the best real-time strategy game out there, according to the executive producer Stephen MacDonald, players will be able to see elements from both of the previous Dawn of War titles and a lot of new features as well.
