On April 18, the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Continuum DLC will be releasing on the Playstation 4, though so far we don’t have other release dates for the Xbox One and PC.
The DLC will be the second one for Infinite Warfare, after the previous DLC, Sabotage, released several months ago.
According to Activision, the Continuum DLC will contain four new multiplayer maps, including a re-imagined version of the map Rust from Modern Warfare 2. A new zombie chapter will also be included, and the DLC will also likely include some new weapons. The maps are as follows:
The first map is called Turista. A map set at a plush spa for the elite of the world, Turista offers sniper perches, close-quarters combat, and tight corners for all of your shotgunning needs.
The second map is known as Scrap. Set in a junkyard on the earth’s moon, Scrap is a map with long sightlines and tactical pathways, perfect for long-distance combat that likely will have a low-gravity element to it too.
Next, there’s Archive. A fast-paced, three-laned map set in a futuristic art gallery, Archive will help to keep you on your toes as you battle your friends through its lanes.
Finally, we have Excess, a re-imagining of Rust. This map takes place on top of a gilded penthouse in the middle of a city, inside of an enclosed, circular map.
However, the Continuum DLC will also have a new zombie map. Called Shaolin Shuffle, this map will take place in the 1970s after our heroes are trapped there by a sadistic movie director. Players will have to navigate around a 1970s-style New York City, fighting off new types of zombies.
So, if any of this sounds appealing to you, look out for the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Continuum DLC when it releases for the Playstation 4 on April 18.
