AMD Radeon RX 500 series GPUs exist, we know that much. But there has been very little revealed by the company about the GPUs. It could be possible that the AMD Radeon RX 500 are going to be coming out next week.
Different online shops have listed AMD Radeon RX 500 GPUs from companies like Asus, Sapphire and MSI. It seems that RX 580 and RX 570 will be available in 4 GB and 8 GB versions while the RX 550 will be coming out in 2 GB and 4 GB versions.
There is still a lot of information that we do not know about the GPUs but we might find out next week if this rumor is indeed to be taken to heart. Still, this is not official so you should wait for the word from AMD.
Oddly the RX 560 has been missing from the leaks and If I was to guess, the GPU will be coming out some time later on. AMD might be following Nvidia when it comes to entry-level GPUs.
Nvidia has the GTX 1050 as well as the 1050 Ti, it is possible that AMD is going down the same route as well by offering two entry-level GPUs instead of one. RX 550 will most likely be based on Polaris 12 so we will have to see how well that GPU performs.
Word has it that the AMD RX 500 series GPU will come with 2 HDMI ports and 2 DVI ports. This would make sense for the RX 580 but not too much for the rest of the GPUs.
We are still waiting for AMD to announce the official release of the GPUs and whether it will be a proper event or just a soft launch of some kind.
Let us know what you think about the AMD Radeon RX 500 series GPUs and whether or not you are interested in getting one of these GPUs.
