Final Fantasy XV art director Isamu Kamikokuryo has announced that he is leaving Square Enix and expressed his gratitude for the company.
Final Fantasy XV Art Director announced on Twitter that he has left Square Enix after 18 years working for the company since 1999.
Yesterday, I left Square Enix as of March 31st. Since I joined in 1999, it has been a little over eighteen years. It was a wonderful experience going from concept artist on Final Fantasy X until Final Fantasy XV. I am grateful to the company for the opportunity to encounter so many talented people.
However, he is not first art director to leave Square Enix as Yosuke Naora who also worked on Final Fantasy XV in the same capacity left the company last September.
In related news, Square Enix has removed the 14-day time restriction from the Final Fantasy XIV free trial. According to Square Enix, all content up to level 35 will be accessible to those who play the Final Fantasy XIV free trial without any time restriction.
