Given that it is first of April there are chances that it might be an April Fool’s prank but it seems very elaborate for a prank that Bayonetta might be releasing for PC.
Sega has released an 8-bit Bayonetta game for free on Steam that seems to be an April Fool’s prank but if you dig deep enough then you might start to think otherwise.
As spotted by a NeoGaf user, there is an easter egg hidden in the 8-bit game’s achievements. The achievements images serve as pieces of puzzles, and when they are put together they reveal an interesting result. In the image below(via Dualshockers), if you look closely there is an URL on the ribbon.
The URL is for a teaser site that has a ten days countdown going on, which might indicate that Sega is planning to reveal Bayonetta or release the game for PC on Steam. We will find a clear answer to this in 10 days.
Do you think Sega might actually be releasing the game for PC or it is just an elaborate prank? Let us know in the comments.
