EA has already confirmed that Star Wars Battlefront 2 will be significantly larger than its predecessor. Speaking during the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media & Telecom Conference, Jorgensen said that Star Wars Battlefront 2 is “dramatically larger” than 2015’s Star Wars Battlefront.
He also confirmed that the sequel will feature “a lot of new characters” from the newer Star Wars movies. He added that Star Wars universe is very vast and it is “unbelievable to build games” in it.
During a recent earning call for the company, EA revealed that Star Wars Battlefront 2 will feature “multiple Star Wars eras”.
Also, Visceral Games is working on an action-adventure Star Wars title and former Uncharted director, Amy Hennig, will be directing it.
According to Amy, the new Star Wars game will be spiritually similar to Uncharted series. She insisted that it won’t be “Star Wars uncharted” and said that it is an important distinction to be made.
While very little is known about this Star Wars title, there is a rumor making rounds on the internet that Visceral games has the trailer for their Star Wars title ready and will showcase it at Star Wars Celebration.
The new Star Wars game from Visceral Games will be an action adventure title and is speculated to launch in 2018 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
