Bringing the Tom Clancy video game world closer together, Ubisoft is linking Ghost Recon: Wildlands and The Division together with a The Division DLC pack. This pack will allow you to customize your squad to look like Division agents.
The pack includes a costume, a unit patch, and a weapon.
The weapon in question is an orange and white LVOA-C assault rifle from The Division, and it’s not even some hokey skin, either. It’s a fully-functional gun that you can equip to your character in order to cut down cartel scumbags in droves.
However, the Division DLC pack isn’t something that just anyone can pick up. It’s only really available to “true” Tom Clancy fans that own both Ghost Recon: Wildlands and The Division together.
So, if you’re wanting the pack but don’t own The Division, you’ll have to suck it up unless you’ve been looking for an “excuse” to buy the game.
This isn’t the first time that Ubisoft has done cross-game promotion, either. The Division’s Underground DLC came with a similar promotion, and offered Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell, and Rainbow Six outfits for people that pre-ordered the DLC. The fact that a large number of other alternative outfits were shown in promotional screenshots for the game is another indicator.
These various outfits included outfits from other games like Assassin’s Creed and Splinter Cell: Blacklist, and there will likely be more as other Ubisoft DLC packs come out for the game in addition to the Division DLC pack.
If you do happen to own The Division, you can just log on to Wildlands and download the DLC pack for yourself. And, if you want to put them on and stalk through the jungles of Bolivia rather than the streets of Manhattan, then you can do that. Ghost Recon: Wildlands is available for Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.
