According to NeoGaf user, glaurung, his/her pre-order of South Park The Fractured But Whole has been canceled and the money was refunded to the wallet. Many users have acknowledged that PSN is revoking the pre-orders and this is the second time that it is has happened for the game.
The pre-order cancellation of South Park The Fractured But Whole might be due to the delay of the game. However, until the real reason is explained by Sony, we can only guess.
Recently, the Ubisoft outlined the combat changes in South Park The Fractured But Whole and the game’s origins. According to devs, the game starts the very next day after the events of Stick Of Truth with the same character.
So there’s Stick of Truth, and this literally happens like the next day in town, and you’re still that same character. You’re still that kid that did all that stuff with the stick, and now something new is happening in town, and so even though you’ve really risen to prominence in the Stick of Truth game, they’re all like well you can’t play this with us, you’re nobody again.
South Park The Fractured But Whole is an upcoming RPG in development at Ubisoft and will launch in 2017 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
