Rumors have been circulating the internet the Emma Stone will be in Hideo Kojima’s upcoming game, Death Stranding. Just recently, a leak suggested that Emma Stone is indeed in Death Stranding emerged, however, turns out that the leak is fake.

The alleged leaked pictures of Emma Stone’s character in Death Stranding came from a shot portraying Mykie from the Glam&Gore YouTube channel. She posted a video on her channel detailing how she achieved the look and also shared her thoughts about the alleged leak.

Hahah we didn’t call it Emma Stone or a leak, others did & we didn’t add any context, but yes that’s a picture from this shoot. To the other comment-Why is that sad? It got a whole community discussing their thoughts on having Emma Stone as part of the game, if parallel universes would be more likely if two characters did have a similar uniform, even the capabilities of the game engine. I’d say that’s not sad at all but just shows what a strong fan base Kojima has cultivated already for this game. Discussion, debate and theorizing from a simple picture is amazing to me.

Recently, Kojima revealed that why he chose the game after leaving Konami. According to Kojima, Death Stranding was his best idea for the gaming market at that time.

I come up with new ideas every day and they all override each other. I had several at the front of my mind, and we ended up choosing the game that – first of all – would be best for the market, and the one we were most enthusiastic about making. That was Death Stranding.

Death Stranding is an upcoming action video game in development at Kojima Productions and is expected to launch in 2018 exclusively for PlayStation 4.
