How to Access YouTube On A Nintendo Switch, No Proxy Needed

Nintendo Switch launched without any apps for services such as Netflix, so people couldn’t use them on their consoles.

However, NeoGAF user Lylo has found a way to access sites like YouTube on a Nintendo Switch. The process isn’t one of the simplest ones available, but it will let you access any websites.

The first thing you have to do is to logout from Facebook; then go to System Settings, Users and select the profile you want.

So, select the option to post on social media and choose to link a Facebook account. Once the Facebook login page is open, select a link which says “Pages”, and then search for the “Gmail” link.

There you have to open the first result, which contains a “Use App” link you have to click on; as a result, the login page for Gmail opens.

At the bottom of said page click on “Google”. This will take you to the main Google page.

On the Google page select the Classic view, then “More”, then “Translate”.

Choose a language, type in the URL for the site you want to access and translate it to the English language.

This process will lead you to the website.

Unfortunately, despite letting you access YouTube, this process won’t let you see any video, but it’s still a way to surf the net without restrictions.

If you want to know more, you can see the video we’ve posted below on how to access YouTube on a Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo Switch is the hybrid console by Nintendo that launched worldwide on March 3rd, 2017, alongside The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild, the eighth games with the highest rank in the history of video games.
