13 Minutes of Dark Souls 3: The Ringed City Gameplay Revealed
Tomorrow, the last DLC for Dark Souls 3 will be released. IGN has released a video that has shown us the first 13 minutes of Dark Souls 3: The Ringed City gameplay, which takes us to the mysterious city of Londor.
Londor is the home of two Dark Souls 3 characters, Yuria and Yoel.
Along with the new video, From Software has also patched Dark Souls 3 in preparation for its release.
These adjustments included adding system compatibility, fixing a glitch where the Dragon Head Stone could be used simultaneously with another item if a player did a quick turn as they went through the item wheel, and fixed an issue with the inventory.
There will be two ways to access the Ringed City DLC. Player can either go to the Kiln of the First Flame (the location of the game’s final boss) or the boss arena of Sister Friede, from Ashes of Ariandel.
At either location is another bonfire that will teleport you to the Dreg Heap, the first area in the new DLC.
The Ringed City, according to lore given to the player in the Dark Souls 3: The Ringed City gameplay by an NPC named Lapp, was founded by a race called the Pygmies. The Pygmies are the ones that brought the Dark Soul into the world, the soul that allows mankind to exist.
Players are in Londor in pursuit of Gael, the character that brought you into the Painted World of Ariandel in the last DLC.
Gael is pursuing the Dark Soul himself, so that the old world the game takes place in can die, and a new one can be “painted” into existence by the painter from Ashes of Ariandel. For that to happen, the Dark Soul has to be made a part of the painting.
