Zelda: Breath of the Wild players are constantly finding new ways to challenge each other. The subtle idiocracies of the game are accommodating some very unique gameplay opportunities.
The latest shenanigans include players challenging each other to glide as far as possible. The trend of this challenge started off when a Reddit user managed to glide his way to 6,578 meters. His record was beaten soon after when another player took flight for almost 5 miles.
Players take flight from atop of Ridgeland Tower, one of the highest points in the game. This player did the same and went up to Ridgeland Tower. Jumping off with a brilliant strategy using crafty reliance of wind and bomb arrows to create an updraft.
There is also a liberal use of potions to replenish Link’s stamina along the way. You can take a look at the video above to see exactly how this player managed to achieve this.
Breath of the Wild is available on Nintendo Switch and Wii U.
