The Kam Urog Shrine in Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is located just past Fort Hateno in the Necluda Region of the map. However, entry to the shrine is restricted until players have first completed The Cursed Statue Shrine quest.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Kam Urog Shrine guide will help players in finding the quest, completing it and then solving the puzzle that awaits within the shrine itself.
Zelda: Breath of the Wild Kam Urog Shrine
To start the quest, Cursed Statue Shrine, players will first need to talk to Doctor Calip in his cabin, to the east of Fort Hateno. Calip will lead players to his work field where he has been working on some ancient text.
The solution to the riddle which Calip brings up is pretty easy. All players have to do is wait till night time and then shoot the statue with the glowing eyes. This will open up access to the Kam Urog shrine so players can proceed.
Once in the shrine, players need to run down the ramp and up to the entrance of the spinning room. In the room, players will have to avoid spiked balls and make their way to the middle. Players can hold on to the beam for support and when the angle is shallow enough, they can run up the beam and hop onto the gear in the middle of the drum.
To pick up a treasure chest at this point, all players have to do is wait on this gear until a treasure chest rolls past and then jump onto the platform with the chest. The chest contains a Soldier’s Spear with a long throw upgrade. Continuing forward on this same platform, carefully, players will eventually reach the end where the platform spins and becomes stairs.
Now players have two options, they can either paraglide down the platform reach a treasure chest with an Opal inside it so simply go up the stairs.
If players choose to paraglide for the opal, they will have to return to the start of the area and then climb back onto the same platform again. The stairs going up will eventually lead them to the Spirit Orb and complete the Kam Urog shrine.
