DiRT 4 has been announced recently and according to developers it will take advantage of the hardware improvements of the PS4 Pro as well as Project Scorpio. This is going to be a new addition to the franchise, one that fans will appreciate. There is still loads that we do not know but developers are giving us new insights.
According to Chief Games Designer Paul Coleman:
We’ve got plenty of experience working with high-end PC hardware so we are confident that we’ll be able to crank up the settings on PS4 Pro. With Scorpio it should be a similar deal – but because Scorpio is shipping a while after we are releasing DiRT 4, I can’t make any promises at this stage.
At least the Project Scorpio will feature the same level of graphics as that of the PS4 Pro version of the game, if not more. Yes, the console is coming out later on and this issue will persist in other games as well. We will see games optimized for the Scorpio some time after it has been released.
