Mass Effect Andromeda Weapons

Some blueprints in Mass Effect Andromeda don’t become available for purchase until certain pre-requisites are met.

Angaran Equipment blueprints become available after the completion of ‘A Trail of Hope’ and Nomad Upgrades blueprints become available as players continue to gain Character Level.

Since concepts like damage, rate-of-fire, accuracy, clip size, etc. aren’t new, I won’t touch them in the guide. There are, however, some things that I want to talk about!

Unique Properties
There are several weapons in the game which boast unique properties. For instance, the Dhan fires a single projectile that deals an incredible amount of damage. When choosing a weapon, you should always keep these unique properties in mind.

Blueprint Cost
The blueprint cost that I’ve mentioned below is the amount of Research Data required to purchase the blueprint of the first rank.

Weight
This is something that you should always consider before choosing a weapon. If you’ve heavy weapons in your inventory and exceed the weapon-weight capacity of your character, your power recharge speed will decrease.

Due to this, if you’re running a Biotics build, you should always consider pistols or other light-weight weapons. Do note that you can increase the weapon-weight capacity by investing in Combat Fitness skill.

Augmentations
Augmentation can be applied to Rank-2 schematics through Research & Development console. The augmentations can provide you with one or more benefits and are returned upon a weapon’s deconstruction. Keeping this in mind, try to experiment with augmentations as much as you possibly can.

Materials
