Funcom has rolled out a new Conan Exiles update. Update #22, this is what it’s called, introduces some interesting things, including the dye system.
The dye system allows you to customize the color of your outfits/armors, an important step if you are in clan or if you want your clothes to reflect your personality. A sneak peek of how the dye system looks is provided below.
But Funcom has also worked on the environment of Conan Exiles. Many players, in fact, left unused buildings along the way, preventing NPCs, creatures, and resource to spawn.
In order to solve this issue, the studio has introduced the ruin/decay system. This system will start a timer if players are away too much, giving other players the chance to destroy the structure once time runs out.
Also, Funcom has officially started their battle against cheaters and exploiters. The team has reset the server of Conan Exiles, and everything unfair has been deleted.
With this patch we will be wiping character inventories, storage inventories and all buildings on the official servers. This allows you to keep your progression but removes the aftereffects of several of the exploits and problems that we have identified (and fixed) since launch.
More on the Conan Exiles update #22 is said here.
Funcom’s Joel Bylos has recently discussed a Switch port of the game.
As stated by him, Funcom hasn’t talked with Nintendo yet, so there’s nothing concrete at the moment. Things might change in the future based on the consoles’ success.
Conan Exiles is now available for PC, and will launch on Xbox Game within the end of 2017. The PlayStation 4 version of the game will be released in 2018 instead.
