Bethesda Softworks has published a new Prey trailer will get you hyped for the game’s launch (that’s only some weeks away).
The trailer is named “Only Yu Can Save the World”, and focuses on freedom of choice.
In Prey, you’re mankind’s last – and only – hope. Using badass weapons and powers, you’ll step into the TranStar uniform of Morgan Yu and fight through an alien-infested space station to save humanity. But while you’re safeguarding the world from the Typhon threat aboard Talos I, you’re also in search of your own identity. Who exactly are you? What powers, abilities and weapons can you wield? What other choices will you make? And who else is aboard Talos I? We answer these questions – and more – in our latest video.
Speaking of choices, based on the way the game is played user might encounter about 20 different endings.
It was revealed by lead designer Ricardo Bare during an interview with Twinfinite. He has also said that it will take up to 16-22 hours to complete the full game.
I don’t wanna give you spoilers, but I would describe the endings as essentially two main branches. You’re gonna be making some pretty big decisions about the space station and the people aboard the space station. But then within those main branches, there are tons of permutations, and a lot of it has to do with what you did and how you treated survivors that you encounter.
Prey is an first person shooter sci-fi video game developed by Arkane Studios for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, and will launch on May 5th, 2017. It’s the reboot of the title by Human Head Studios released in 2006.
